The process of organic metalsmithing - in which the material exudes

Afro-futurism and shows the hand of this Maker - is at the heart of my work.

I express this aesthetic by using the ancient techniques of chasing, light

repose, and the lost wax casting process. Seashells, high polish, and acid

baths are components that give the metals their voice, shouting as an

individual from their collective elements. Geometric shapes and marks

found in the metal, reflect my playfulness through abstract illustration.
